The Opportunity

A premiere equestrian event in North America for the last 34 years, The Breeders’ Cup wanted to extend their reach to the digital generation. At the same time, they wanted to elevate their brand and set a new standard for the horse racing culture by introducing innovative live-broadcast technology.

The Solution

Greenfish Labs produced a multi-camera live 360 broadcast over the course of a 2 day period during the 2018 Breeders’ Cup event in Louisville, Kentucky. The 360 live broadcast was enhanced by a first of its kind integration of augmented reality and artificial intelligence to produce realtime horse information and statistics.

The Result

The broadcast earned over a million organic impressions on social media and successfully tapped into the coveted digital generation, bringing new interest to the Breeders’ Cup brand from all over the world.
